Lionsgate Prosecuted Over Music Utilized in Lebron Documentary
Lionsgate continues to be hit having a cool copyright violation suit over a bit of music utilized in documentary A Lot More Than A Game Title, which stories basketball celebrity Lebron' rise throughout his senior high school days in Ohio. The suit filed Tuesday in Georgia federal court originates from Mason Hall, a songwriter who states he written a copyrighted composition titled, "We Ready." Hall is suing Lionsgate in addition to what might be considered a Lebron label at Interscope Records ("Interscope Lebron LLC") for implementing his composition within the film without license. Before suit even touches upon the question of fair use, the complaintant's first task might be convincing a judge the song under consideration is actually his.
